I am sweltering while navigating the external and internal fire

The heat suddenly turned up this past weekend as the Sun moved into Leo and Mars moved in Aries – both blazing #Fire signs. Tonight, #Moon joins the #Sun in #Leo in the #nakshatra of Magha for the new moon. If you feel like a pot of boiling water placed on a flaming stove, you can blame it on the planets. Both Sun and Mars are in gandhanta (energetic knots in space); Sun is in the gandhantha section spanning from #Ashlesha (in #Cancer, #watery) and Magha whereas Mars is in the #Revati (in #Pisces, watery) and #Ashvini (in #Aries) gandanta. The transition from the realm of watery signs, full of emotions and feelings to the realm of fire signs that pushes us to take action can feel very jarring. Sun and Mars being innately fiery, the stark contrast between random, floaty, directionless actions and determined, purposeful, intentional actions is apparent. The frustrations you may have felt with the lack of vision, purpose or direction will find respite. On the contrary, one needs to be careful of explosive behavioral tendencies that may arise in compensation of the confused, emotional state, especially when potentially explosive, fiery planets like the Sun and Mars are in #Gandanta

As the lion roars into the New Moon in Magha, one may invoke the pitris or the ancestors to aid in these transitions. We all have loved ones who have crossed over. It is said that they are eagerly waiting to help us on this plane – all we need to do is ask! This is a great time to connect with those who have transitioned and receive their wisdom. Their aid will lead us to the throne in this life where we are the de facto kings and queens. This is also a good time to think of your life, your community, your tribe, the society we live in, and the governance of the same – as a kingdom. A dharmic king doesn’t care about the throne or people’s validation but is deeply invested in the welfare of the society. I have read posts about healing the ancestral line around this time. One needs to remember that healing yourself and your traumas is in fact healing the ancestry. The physical body is of paramount importance in working out karmas and healing. The ones who have crossed over cannot heal without an earthy body but they can assist you in your healing on this plane. And in true sense, your healing as an embodied being is their healing in the spirit realm 
.
Mercury joining the Sun and Moon in Magha will bring tendencies of fired up speech and communications that can sever ties. Mercury’s combustion will also create opportunities to purify all that Mercury represents – speech (no gossiping), intellect, authentically connect rather than use the intellect to manipulate, discernment and the capacity to be authentically flexible
