Purva Bhadrapada (PB) is a nakshatra that bridges Aquarius to Pisces. The exact degrees Full Moon (FM) lies in the Aquarius portion of PB. The energy is Aquarius is inclined towards service of all. PB, symbolized by the front legs of a death cot reminds us of the impermanence of the world, all its people & life itself. So, your highest service or highest ambition is towards something that’s not permanent. This FM reminds us to hold our desire to serve, desire to make an impact on the world, & our desire to lead a purposeful life in the highest light… & then let that go. Surrender your highest ambitions or desires for you’ll leave everything behind the day you transition. In fact, in a few years no one will remember you or what you did/achieved. Does this mean we shouldn’t participate & engage in the world? Not at all. It probably calls for us to engage fully with the world & all that it offers (the good, bad & ugly) with a level of detachment. The universal truth often strikes as a lightning rod as exemplified by the Rudra ruling PB called Aja Eka Pada. It is your responsibility to follow this glimpse in our quest for liberation. That’s the collective lesson ripening this FM

This FM also kicks off Pitru-Paksha, a fortnight dedicated to ancestors. Indians cease all festivities during these two weeks & dedicate their devotion to those that came before them. Check out the video on Pitru Paksha at bit.ly/PitruPaksha-M . It’s not a coincidence that Pitru Paksha is observed right after the FM in PB
.
Opposite this FM, is Venus joined Sun in Leo. So, you may experience entitlement or greater awareness of how you are at a disadvantage in your relationships, but there is also the potential to lean into greater love & affection that extends beyond this dimension
